About the Job

The Department of Pharmacology at the University of Minnesota Medical School invites applications at the Associate Professor or Professor levels. Our current faculty direct research programs supported by $10+ million in annual external funding, focused on discovery in the areas of neuropharmacology, cancer, immunology, and infectious disease. We hope to enhance these areas of strength while recruiting individuals with expertise in drug discovery and development, structural and computational biology, OMICs technologies, and/or translational research. Individuals from historically underrepresented groups in STEM and medicine, including women, minorities, qualified persons with disabilities, and protected veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Required qualifications for tenured Associate Professor or Professor applicants include a PhD in the biomedical sciences and relevant postdoctoral training. Applicants must also have a record of sustained funding and publication, and a commitment to collaborative research and mentorship.
