The Space and Intelligence Division provides engineering services and analytic support to the Air Force, Space Force, Combatant Commands, the Intelligence Community, and NASA. Our work includes systems engineering and integration, test planning and execution, cost estimating and analysis, developing approaches and concepts to meet emerging, high priority National Defense needs, and assessing and developing cutting-edge technologies and capabilities to meet those needs.

SPA is looking for a Senior Schedule Analyst to support a US Space Force customer.

Responsibilities

SPA supports multiple programs at US Space Force's Space Systems Center, including the Kobayashi Maru software factory. SPA is a force enabler to USSPACECOM for POM strategies, program substantiation, JCIDS, and requirements management. We provide highly qualified expertise to NASA's Safety and Mission Assurance operations. We also deliver high-end advisory services to the Intelligence Community's in support of strategic objectives, transformation initiatives and acquisition, technical, and business processes.

    Provide a broad range of schedule analysis support for the Space Systems Command. This includes review and assessment of official program documents including, Acquisition Strategy Plans, Requests for Proposal, Statements of Work, Contract Data Requirements Lists, Policies, Department of Defense/Air Force/Center guidance/instruction, Integrated Master Plans, and contractors' proposals in response to solicitations for compliance and consistency with Earned Value Management and schedule standards and best practices.
  • Qualified candidates will possess the ability to thoroughly document assessment results and be prepared to explain and justify findings and make recommendations.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise in Integrated Baseline Reviews, analysis and documentation of contractors' performance reports, Integrated Master Schedules, Integrated Program Management reports, contract funds status reports, work breakdown structures (WBS) and other technical data packages for compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Comprehensive analysis includes data integrity assessments, performance measurement baseline maintenance, variance analysis, performance trend analysis, generating earned value metrics, forecast analysis and schedule health metrics.
  • Support for contractor performance analysis includes the collection, organization, import, and recording of program cost, earned value, schedule, and risk deliverables in Government repositories and assessment of data integrity.
  • Schedule risk assessments, over target assessments (baseline, schedule, and major contract modification baseline), assistance with Integrated Master Plan, and Master Schedule execution.

This position will offer a hybrid working model. Qualified candidates will be required to work onsite 1 day a week. You should be within a comfortable driving distance to El Segundo.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. California Pay Transparency Range: 150k - 200k

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Bachelor degree in a related field, such as Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, and/or Statistics

  • 15+ years of experience performing schedule analysis activities for government acquisition programs

  • 12+ years in support of Space programs

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Position, Navigation, and Timing programs (GPS, MGUE, OCX, etc.) a plus
  • Masters degree in a related field
  • Experience as a Team Lead a plus
