Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
UNC-Chapel Hill collaborates with nearby NC State University to extend both universities' temporary staffing power by operating as a shared service for both institutions. Under this partnership, University Temporary Services (UTS) provides exclusive temporary staffing services to UNC-Chapel Hill and NC State, employing candidates to work as temporary employees in a variety of jobs on both campuses.

Working at the one of these prestigious universities provides employees with the opportunity to gain valuable on-campus experience and references while acquiring and refining skills needed for a successful career. Positions vary in length from several days to several months and we offer part-time and full-time schedules.

Position Summary
University Temporary Services at NC State University and UNC Chapel Hill is currently seeking qualified professionals for a variety of different roles at each campus including: Administrative, HR, Accounting, Program Management, Executive-level support, etc. Recruitments with UTS tend to change on a daily basis and we are unable to post every opportunity we receive therefore, this application serves as the first step in the process to be considered for our current openings.

Please see below for the general categories and pay rate ranges for these positions:

Administrative ($17-30 per hour)

Accounting ($19-30 per hour)

Human Resources ($18-30 per hour)

Marketing and Communications ($20-35 per hour)

Research ($23-35 per hour)

IT ($25-33 per hour)
