Join Our Team as a Senior Compensation Analyst!

Are you passionate about Human Resources? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to coordinate our human resource function. As a Senior Compensation Analyst, you'll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. As part of the Global Total Rewards team, theSenior Compensation Analyst will play a key role in the research, design, implementation, evaluation, and administration of S&C's global broad-based and incentive compensation programs. In this role, you will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Talent, International HR leads, and business leaders to provide guidance and analytical support on compensation related projects and requests. This is a hands-on position, the ideal candidate will have the aptitude to understand and work with complex data; demonstrate a take-action mindset in a changing and growing environment and can demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy from start to finish in completing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and benchmark positions globally in alignment with S&C's career framework and Work Elements program to ensure compliance and internal equity is maintained while remaining externally competitive
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the implementation and administration of wage structures, incentives, and rewards programs in alignment with organizational goals and compensation philosophy
  • Perform, prepare and present summary reports and detailed analyses on the effectiveness, efficiency, and competitiveness of existing compensation programs, policies, and processes
  • Serve as project lead for various compensation initiatives. Support and identify opportunities for enhancement and change in compensation programs, policies, and procedures. Recommend and implement approved changes to process and policy.
  • Provide guidance and expertise on federal, state, and local regulatory compliance and best practices related to compensation
  • Prepare survey submissions and gather data from market-based compensation surveys; experienced user of spreadsheets and data analysis techniques to assess results and make recommendations based on market trends
  • Assist with the annual compensation planning cycles, including data gathering, reporting, testing and internal communications
  • Mentor and partner with other members of the Compensation team and/or other HR team members providing support on compensation related projects and initiatives
  • Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules

What you'll Need To Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 3+ years related experience in compensation role
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 Business Suite (i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Execute time management and organizational skills, pay attention to detail, and prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Provide exceptional customer service and negotiation services

  • Contribute to positive change throughout the organization
  • Experience with HCM Oracle Compensation Module and Reporting
  • Experience with Radford, Willis Towers Watson, and Mercer survey suites and data platforms
  • Experience using various compensation tools and systems, such as Salary.com
