Cash Management Operations Representative II - Lowell, MA

What You'll Do: The Cash Management Operations Representative II administers and maintains the Bank's account analysis customers as well as ensures the day to day operation tasks related to the Bank's various cash management products and services, including but not limited to, Retail and Business Online Banking, Retail and Business Mobile Banking, Zelle, TransferNow, Retail and Business BillPay, Wire Transfers, Sweep services, Lockbox, Account Reconciliation, Check and ACH Positive Pay, Remote Deposit Capture, ACH, Escrow Manager, Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service (CDARS) & ICS programs are completed. This includes research and resolution to both internal and external requests in a timely fashion to identify root causes of errors and escalating issues as appropriate. This individual is responsible for daily maintenance and ensuring compliance with Bank policies and procedures. The Cash Management Operations Representative II provides advanced and technical support for external and internal customers in addition to acting as a tier II level of assistance to the Call Center with Cash Management related matters.

Operational and Technical Support

  • Provides intermediate support and performs the necessary account research to accurately answer internal and external inquiries and requests related to all cash management products and services
  • Performs account functions for customers, including Retail and Business Online Banking, Retail and Business Mobile Banking, Zelle, TransferNow, Retail and Business BillPay, Wire Transfers, Sweep services, Lockbox, Check reconciliation, Check and ACH Positive Pay, Remote Deposit Capture, ACH, Escrow Manager, Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service (CDARS) & ICS programs as related to set ups, file maintenance, and problem resolution
  • Responsible for maintaining customers and related service charges in the Bank's account analysis system (i.e., Weiland Account Analysis) including providing ad hoc reports upon request
  • Works closely with the Accounting Department to ensure proper settlement and general ledger entries are conducted in relation to sweep account services and the CDARS & ICS programs
  • Responsible for the monthly billing of the Escrow Manager and lockbox services
  • Supports Cash Management Sales with inquiries and issues related to cash management products and services in addition to identifying sales opportunities to strengthen client relationships
  • Handles document management of agreements, change forms, terminations, and other forms deemed necessary for retention
  • Provides advanced training and assistance to internal and external customers on beneficial features and the utilization of online cash management products, services, and online modules
  • Independently troubleshoots advanced technical issues and complete research requests while providing timely resolution or promptly escalate issues as needed
  • Handles fraud activity related to cash management products and services, adhering to security guidelines, and providing initial client guidance for all types of account fraud
  • Researches, tests, and assists with the bank quarterly refreshes and any emergency system fixes

ACH

  • Processes PIMOUT A, B, C, D without error
  • Researches and assists customers with customers by troubleshooting ACH NACHA related spec issues
  • Tests new clients ACH files prior to first submission
  • Handles over limits, duplicate files and rejected files in a timely fashion to meet ACH processing deadlines

Merchant Source Capture

  • Performs advanced troubleshooting and for Merchant Source Capture customers with assistance of the department supervisor; if necessary
  • Provides key customer personnel with the set-up and training for merchant source capture technology
  • Installs and reinstalls related software on customer's computers

Facilitation of Audit and Compliance Procedures

  • Assists with the coordination processes of internal and external audits, assembling the requested information and documentation for off-site and on-site reviews
  • Revises Cash Management Operations procedures, ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulatory requirements
  • Maintains all customer documents including agreements, applications, change forms, termination forms and correspondence as deemed necessary

Other

  • Performs all duties consistent with applicable Federal and State laws and regulations as well as Bank policies
  • Performs all duties of a Cash Management Operations Representative I
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Exceeds customer expectations by following the guidelines outlined in the Customer Experience Program
  • Assists with any and all Ad hoc projects

This position is eligible for Hybrid, Remote, or Onsite. Candidates from MA, NH, and ME only.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school; and
  • A minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Customer Service experience preferred.
