Community Options has an exciting opportunity within the Behavioral Health Department as a Tenant Coordinator. This position offers room for considerable growth within the organization. As Tenant Coordinator, you will provide direct support to Cooper House tenants by utilizing a strength-based approach that is rooted in Housing First, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care methodologies.

The salary for this position is $18-$21 an hour depending on experience (DOE). A $3 an hour shift differential will be paid for shifts covered 10:00 p.m. Friday through 10:00 p.m. Sunday. FT and PT positions available. (PT positions do not qualify for all benefits)

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree and two (2) years of training and/or supervisory experience; or bachelor's degree in a related field: education, human services, business administration, etc. in lieu of experience
  • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance for the vehicle subject to the statute of the licensing state will be required based on assigned job duties
  • Successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and obtain ND Department of Human Service (DHS) pre-employment approval
  • Completion of training as required by Community Options

  • Knowledge of community resources
  • Understanding of human services and welfare programs, and evidence-based model programs
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Proficient in the use of computers; knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Always maintain a professional manner with clients and in the community

  • Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize duties
