We are currently looking for a Sr. Business Applications and Integrations Specialist in Houston, TX who craves a role encompassing a diverse range of responsibilities that will support their ongoing growth and development, spanning from day-to-day operations to exciting projects and initiatives.

Description

The Senior Business Systems Applications Specialist would be responsible for managing and supporting the organization's business applications and systems to enable efficient and effective business operations. This role would involve working closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, optimize existing systems, and implement new solutions to meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Application Management and Support:
    • Manage and support the organization's portfolio of business applications, including ERP systems, CRM systems, and other specialized applications.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders regarding application-related issues, enhancements, and requests.
    • Provide end-user support and training on business applications, ensuring users are proficient in utilizing the systems to perform their tasks effectively.
  2. Business Process Analysis and Improvement:
    • Analyze existing business processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
    • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define business processes, and recommend solutions to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
    • Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to implement process improvements and system enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  3. System Integration and Data Management:
    • Coordinate the integration of disparate systems and applications to create seamless end-to-end business processes.
    • Manage data migration and integration efforts between different systems, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and security.
    • Develop and maintain data models, databases, and reporting structures to support business intelligence and decision-making.
  4. Project Management and Implementation:
    • Lead or participate in projects related to the implementation or enhancement of business applications and systems.
    • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop project plans and timelines.
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project resources, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  5. Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
    • Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the delivery of contracted services.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities, and communicate IT initiatives and progress updates effectively.
    • Provide guidance and support to business stakeholders on leveraging technology solutions to achieve their goals and objectives.
  1. Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of business processes and operations, with the ability to analyze and optimize workflows and systems.
  • Experience with business applications such as ERP, CRM, and other specialized software solutions.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, with experience leading or participating in IT projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of data management principles, including data integration, migration, and reporting.
