Position Summary
We areseeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to join our team. The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that our company's site selection and incentives clients maintain compliance with all negotiated statutory and discretionary incentives and city, county and state policies. This is a critical role that requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
This position requires knowledge of a wide range of rules and regulations around site selection and incentives, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong attention to detail. They must be able to work independently and under pressure, while also demonstrating excellent organizational and time management skills.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Develop and implement complianceprocesses to ensure that our clients stay compliant with their local and state incentive terms.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance issues and ensure that all employees understand their roles and responsibilities related to compliance.
  • Monitor compliance activities across the practice and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Investigate and resolve compliance issues, including conducting investigations, documenting findings, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies and external auditors to ensure that ourclients are meeting all program
  • Stay up to date on changes to policies and regulations that impact our clients and their compliance to ensure that our company is proactive in addressing any changes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field.
  • At lease 3 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, insurance, or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of policies and regulations, as well as industry best practices related to compliance
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments
  • Stay up to date changes to policies and regulations that impact our clients and their compliance to ensure that our company is proactive in addressing any changes.
