About youUdemy's People team is responsible for ensuring we win together as an organization. We focus on creating an environment where Udemates can do the best work of their lives, and the Senior Employee Relations Manager role is critical to this mission. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Total Rewards and People Operations, this position is the first employee relations (ER) role at the company and will be responsible for building and developing our ER processes and strategy.
About this roleIn this role, you will provide a broad range of professional employee relations activities including but not limited to employee consulting, conflict resolution, complaint investigation, policy interpretation and the preparation and delivery of related summary reports and recommendations. You will interact with all levels of leadership regarding investigations, discipline, performance management, terminations, and negotiated separations. You will work with a great deal of independent discretion in decision-making and execution of responsibilities.
