Empire Distributors Inc, A Leading Beverage Distributor is now hiring a Corporate Teammate Resources Generalist in our Charlotte NC Location. This is an in-office position

Summary

Supports the overall administrative functions of the Corporate Teammate Resources Department. Consolidates state and location-specific reporting requirements. Works directly with State TR Coordinators/Generalists, and Office Managers to ensure consistency in HR/HRIS practices. Assists the Corporate Director and Corporate level managers with the completion of special projects and actions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Monitors Teammate Resource administrative functions to ensure consistency across states. Establishes administrative and system SOPs and training standards for TR Coordinators/Generalists and office managers. Trains and retrains as required.

Generates network-wide analytical reports for TR leadership consisting of the following: Turnover by period, Average Hours/Overtime Hours/Temporary Labor by payroll period, Time & Attendance - missed punches, and retention statistics. Establishes report formatting to ensure consistency as it relates to corporate goals.

Supports state TR Coordinators/Generalists -fills in live/remotely during absences.

Provides "new manager" level ADP orientation. Orientation details include manager responsibilities for approving PTO, performance evaluations, corrective actions, etc.

Updates Driver Qualification files and works directly with Safety and Fleet Compliance Manager for file compliance and preparations for audits.

Conducts regular teammate ADP audits ensuring consistency and compliance as it relates to Emergency Contacts, Beneficiaries, Standard 80 Hours Field, FLSA Status, PTO Balance Checks, and HSA end of the year.

Processes monthly/annual expirations reports for all company required certifications: Driver's License, Alcohol Permits, DOT Medical Cards, Auto insurance, HIPAA training certifications, etc, and sends reports to state Teammate Resources team.

Tracks completion reports for management training through the Learning Management System for the network.

Consolidates and provides data to Corporate Marketing for monthly newsletter.

Verifies employment and previous employment for potential employers, mortgage lenders, etc.

Consolidates MileIQ reports summaries and coordinates changes to payroll.

Enters child support orders, medical support orders, garnishments, levies, and bankruptcy deductions.

Conduct pulse surveys throughout the network and summarizes results for the state TR team.

Research teammate HSA account rejections and forwards resolutions to HealthEquity System.

Maintain Teammate garnishment files and ensures proper collection of all monies owed to 3rd parties.

Coordinate and lead TR Generalist meetings across divisions.

Travel to other locations as needed.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
