Overview

The Bonadio Group is currently seeking a creative and detail-oriented Curriculum Development Specialist to join our Learning and Development team. This position will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to design and develop engaging and effective learning solutions tailored to the needs of our accounting professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and experience in the accounting industry.

Responsibilities
    Collaborate with Learning and Development Specialists, SMEs and key stakeholders to analyze training needs and develop learning objectives
  • Design, develop, and maintain instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, job aids, and assessments. This includes annual content reviews, updates, and processing expirations
  • Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and interactive learning experiences that promote knowledge retention and application
  • Incorporate multimedia elements, such as videos, simulations, and interactive exercises, to enhance learning outcomes
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in instructional design and accounting regulations to ensure training materials are current and relevant
  • Conduct evaluations to assess the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and budgets
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to leverage existing resources and tools, as well as identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
  • Assist with post-production editing of videos and recordings
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, learning and development, or related field
  • Proven experience in instructional design, preferably within the accounting or financial services industry
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM)
  • Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS)
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders

Preferred:

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Experience with graphic design and multimedia development

Hours of Operation:

  • Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • Our summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday
  • We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however at peak times additional hours may be required
