What you'll do:

SUMMARY:
The Logistics Specialist position is responsible for communicating with customers, shippers, plant operations, and sales team members on status of production units, pickup availability, scheduling outside processing, and staging units for production


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer customer and sales calls and emails in a courteous and professional manner
  • Schedules finished unit pickups
  • Ensures all finished trucks are prepared to ship to customers
  • Prioritize and schedule interplant moves based on efficiency and crew priority
  • Help monitor/communicate with drivers throughout the day, adjusting schedules as needed while interacting with coworkers
  • Report driver issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor immediately
  • Daily Administrative duties, overseeing daily logs for accuracy filing, and maintaining daily records as needed
  • Ability to utilize GPS tracking software
  • Assist with hiring new drivers as required

What you need to be successful:

  • Hold a CDL Class B preferred
  • ERP experience preferred but
  • Minimum of 2 years of Dispatching experience preferred
  • Familiar with and able to adhere to all safety rules and regulations for the Company, OSHA, and DOT.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Ability to learn quickly, problem-solve, and remain composed to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Well organized, motivated, and able to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and manage time and workload
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be reliable and punctual with dependable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
