Job Description

The Global Cross-border team is responsible for defining the cross-border business strategy and managing execution for Visa across all regions, working closely with market, functional and other cross-border leaders around the world. The cross-border business faces some of the most complex and interesting challenges for the company, touching all areas of the business, including product, pricing, legal, regulatory, marketing, client management and partnership development. This senior analyst role will partner across each of these areas, and will be part of a team responsible for developing and executing actionable global strategies to grow the business, with a particular focus on partnership development and deal structuring, client engagement and consulting, data-centric asset and VAS deployment, and business performance measurement and optimization. The role will sit within the global cross-border hub.

Key responsibilities of the team include:

  • Evolve and manage strategic framework for evaluating and executing client engagement and business development activities with underpenetrated or at-risk cross-border rich industry and customer segments

  • Support regional and functional teams in enhancing and optimizing go-to-market approaches to drive client cross-border focus at scale through marketing, CVP, loyalty and business insights engagements

  • Design programmatic, corridor-specific strategies to drive consumer preference at scale in strategically important markets

  • Update and enhance Visa's operational model for end-to-end cross-border-rich deal flows, including opportunity prioritization, pipeline mgmt, deal structuring, governance and performance tracking

  • Create and manage detailed strategic workstream plans, leading multi-functional teams across markets from hypothesis development, validation, testing and execution stages

  • Manage the global cross-border organization's operations function, including OKR tracking, meetings and events, and presentations

  • Communicate recommendations to team members and functional peers in a clear, concise and impactful way, including through executive ready presentations and briefing memos

  • Continuously review the market, identify trends and forecast opportunities to drive Visa's growth, including fact-based, quantitative analysis and financial rigor and alignment for any recommendations

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
* 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
* 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
* Previous experience in consulting, product management, client management, payments or financial services industry preferred
* Highly motivated self-starter with project management experience and meticulous attention to detail
* Ability to understand and communicate technical and often-times complex solutions to internal partners, senior leadership and partner organization
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience developing executive-ready, high quality deliverables
* Cross-functional work experience
* Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
* Proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint

Additional Information

Work Authorization:Permanent Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 132,300.00 to 191,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
