Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Remote)

Design, develop and maintain test cases for proprietary web-based educational testing applications. Participate in development and analysis of future product and platforms. Understanding of SQA methodology and practice, System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile Methodology. Document, track, and communicate test plans, test results, analyses, and unresolved problems. Collaborate with Software Engineering, QA, and Infrastructure for designing and improving verification tests or production defects. Build and maintain end to end test automation for web-based products using Selenium both internal and web-hosted applications. This is a 100% remote position working from any location in the U.S., and reports to the main office in Alpharetta, GA.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or Foreign Equivalent.

8 years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation

Ability to work on Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle and write complex SQL queries. Experience with data warehouse/ ETL/data testing and performing security testing for applications being used with different penetration testing tools. Familiar with GITHUB or similar source control tools. Experience in programming languages (JavaScript, C#, Java) and in establishing and maintaining standards using TestRail. Proficient with Google Docs, Microsoft Office, top social media platforms and mobile. Experience must include software automation, designing software application test suites for Windows/Macintosh/ Linux in a web-based NET, MS SQL multi-tier environment.
