Base Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for personal safety as well as involvement in all EHS efforts at this facility. This includes complying with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies or regulations set forth by Simonton and/or various governmental agencies.
• Assist the Supervisor in the daily scheduling of employees based on volume of production
• Supervise progress of all employees within his/her line to include the following: evaluating performance, facilitating layoffs, monitoring absences and initiating disciplinary action up to and including termination
• Develop and maintain open lines of communication and daily interaction with employees
• Participate in problem solving process to resolve preventative maintenance issues
• Attend all training required and participate as a trainer when necessary
• Monitor and insure adherence to good housekeeping practices to enhance pride in the facility
• Participate, develop and maintain 5S and SMART procedures
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure
