Job Description

Responsibilities:

*Maintain a safe and clean work area.

*Follows assembly instructions and quality procedures to meet output requirements.

*Support the training of team members and collaborates to drive improvement and efficiency.

*Maintains a good working relationship with department colleagues and the supporting departments.

*Communicates and seeks guidance where there are errors or difficulty in assembly or build.

*Performs quality work checks to ensure the assembly meets quality standards.

Skill / Experience / Education

*High School diploma or equivalent

*Knowledge and experience of the principles of electrical or mechanical component constructions and assembly, dependent on assigned area.

*Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and diagrams.

*Experience with hand tools and small power tools.

*Ability to work with minimal supervision.

*Ability to climb a ladder to reach top locations on assemblies.

*Requires standing for most of the day and will include work at floor level as well as atop a ladder.

*Light assembly of components ranging from small fittings, piping to light metal framework.
