Join our world-class Pressure Pumping TeamPartner with the bestThe Production Enhancement R&D Scientist will be responsible for managing multiple projects relating to research and design to develop new products/software related to production enhancement services, which includes acidizing, hydraulic fracturing, and sand control applications. In addition, the scientist/engineer will be expected to analyze and interpret data from the testing and summarize it into a report format. Finally, the scientist/engineer will be responsible for introducing new technology ideas to grow the research and development portfolio.As a Production Enhancement R&D Scientist, you will be responsible for:
  • Planning and conducting laboratory research, designing experiments, and analyzing data to understand products and mechanisms for the development of new products as they relate to processes/applications.
  • Applying fundamental understanding of production enhancement applications to solve problems, initiate projects, and provide innovative ideas.
  • Collaborating with the Pressure Pumping Production Enhancement product management team, research colleagues, and other business segments
  • Participating in internal and external conferences to show industry leadership.
To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Scientific/Engineering discipline with 7+ years' experience.
  • Master's Degree with 4-6 years' experience. Ph.D. with 2-4 years' experience.
  • 7-10 years in Production Enhancement or Scientific Research and Applications
  • 3-5 years' experience preparing and presenting reports to upper management and clients.
  • 3 plus years' experience with MS Office for reporting and data analysis.
  • Experience with Data Acquisition and project management is a plus
Desired Characteristics:
  • Familiarity with Geothermal, CCUS, micro and nano particle technology, and flow assurance applications
  • Work experience with multiple-geographic locations.
  • Familiar with stage-gate processes
  • Understanding of API standards and practices
