Position Summary

The Project Coordinator supports the Family Services' Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Department's project efforts, which comprises of family strengthening programs, as well as state and federal training and technical assistance efforts across policy areas such as Healthy Marriage and Relationship Education (HMRE), Responsible Fatherhood (RF), and Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE). The Project Coordinator will support the team in the development of tools, products, and approaches to facilitate efficient and high-quality internal and external systems. Additionally, this individual will contribute to maintenance and updates to processes, systems, and data connected to family-strengthening programs. This individual will work closely with Family Services Division TTA staff to coordinate and support project activities, and maintain resources and communication across departments and teams.

Essential Job Functions

  • Support the implementation of TTA activities and respond to project support needs
  • Assist in creating timelines, spreadsheets, protocols, and other tools to create efficiencies across project and division activities
  • Input, extract, and organize data from the TTA management online system
  • Maintain TTA data tracking systems and processes associated with TTA activity needs
  • Support TTA team administrative tasks, projects and activities, and collaborate with other Family Service Teams, as needed
  • Contribute to compiling information and formatting reports on TTA team findings related to best practices for project and division collaboration
  • Participate in the support of business development activities, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Education/Training

  • Bachelor's Degree, required
  • Applicable fields and disciplines include business, social sciences, humanities, public administration, public policy, education, research, and related fields

Experience

  • Relevant work experience or coursework in areas of Health and Human Services, program implementation, strategic planning, and/or family policy, preferred

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, required
  • Ability to work/collaborate within a team dynamic, as well as independently
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Relevant work experience or coursework in areas of Health and Human Services, program implementation, strategic planning, and/or family policy, preferred
  • Personable, a critical thinker, self-motivated, hard-working, detail-oriented and flexible
  • Limited Domestic Travel
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, as needed
  • Maintain a valid Driver's License
