Job Description

Join Bio-Rad as our Production Manager for our Fort Worth, Texas operation. In this role you will establish clear operational direction and priorities for the operational team.You will develop and implement a strategic plan with other manufacturing sites while managing the budget and executing cost reduction plans. Respond effectively to new demands and challenges from both internal and external customers.

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Manage a staff of production supervisors leading direct labor personnel including assemblers, technicians, chemical process operators and/or chemists.
  • Work under broad general direction with significant autonomy.
  • Independently determine and develope approach to production strategy, problem solving and execution of production plans
  • Communicate effectively across organizational levels and functions

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related field.
  • 8+ years manufacturing production experience, preferably in a regulated environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Medical Device or other related industry experience is a plus.
  • 5 or more years of supervisory/management experience required.
  • PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, database software, internet software, manufacturing software).
  • Experience with hand and automated tooling and inspection gauges is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SAP and other manufacturing materials systems preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience with chemical, instrument or facility production processes, and process equipment.

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $98,500 to $135,400 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
