What we need:

The Workday Integrations Engineer provides technical support for our Financial and Human Resources system integrations. This includes, but is not limited to, collaborating with various functional teams, technical teams and business users to troubleshoot issues, gather requirements, and test changes to existing and new integrations. The Incumbent will be responsible for maintaining quality and consistency of the HR and Financial data; ensuring documented procedures for change management and data handling are consistently followed; provide technical support to Finance, Human Resources and other Shutterstock staff; and maintaining integration design documentation.

The day to day:

  • Designs, builds, tests, implements, maintains and enhances Workday Integrations, leading initiatives across other engineering teams

  • Drives quality, consistency and integrity of integrations and data processing

  • Identifies opportunities for improving integration architecture and implementations

  • Prepares quality documents for all system configurations and processes

  • Monitors all integration processing; perform tests on all system integration changes; perform troubleshooting of all technical processes

  • Responsible for cross-functional partnership with IT, Finance and HR teams to analyze all technical requirements to develop and implement integration changes and enhancements

  • Leads the interaction with with vendors to establish, maintain and ensure smooth exchange of HR and Finance data/information

  • Supports semi-annual regression testing of integrations and related reports

  • Develops custom Workday Studio integrations; XML transformations and all other integration methods supported by Workday

  • Troubleshoots, analyzes, detects, identifies and corrects all technical problems and implementation deficiencies

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field. Continuous education or professional development in emerging technologies and leadership preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in a dynamic, fast paced environment, with a minimum of 2 years' experience supporting Workday integrations

  • Experience with Workday Studio development with Data Initialization Service

  • Experienced with XSLT, BIRT, Document Transformation, Workday Report writing, and EIBs

  • Analytical mindset with a strong ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues and defects. Proven ability to think outside the box.

  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

  • Good organizational and time management skills. Proven record of setting delivery commitments and meeting expectations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience dealing with employees, business partners, and cross functional team members. Able to effectively work autonomously and in a collaborative environment.
