Odyssey is looking for a Senior Space Based Missile Warning Analyst to join the team supporting Headquarters Space Operations Command (HQ SpOC) at Peterson SFB. In this role you can expect to provide subject matter expertise in the integration of current and emerging missile warning systems to include Defense Support Programs (DSP) satellites, Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) Geosynchronous (GEO) satellites, Highly Elliptical Orbit (HEO) sensor payloads, Next Gen GEO (NGG), Next Gen Polar (NGP), Medium Earth Orbit (MEO), Proliferated Low Earth Orbit (pLEO), Mission Control Station (MCS), MCS-Backup (MCSB), satellite command and control systems, and worldwide relay ground stations.
This is a full-time on-site position at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs, CO.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Provides GBR functional area expertise to HQ SpOC at Peterson AFB CO
Provides oversight, guidance and functional area management for missile warning/missile defense (MW/MD), and Space Domain Awareness (SDA) missions.
Supports planning, acquisition, fielding and operations Ground Based Radars, specifically Upgraded Early Warning Radars (UEWR) and Long Range Discrimination Radar (LRDR)
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field OR High school diploma with 8 years of experience
Years' experience: 5 years relevant missile warning experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field - highly preferred
Clearance: TS/SCI
