Job Description Summary

This level position would perform the initial review of quarterly financial statements, year-end audits and tax returns within the Pre-Stabilized portfolio, independently review and provide secondary reviews of cost certifications reports and Form 8609s and provide technical assistance internally and externally to resolving issues that arise.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Review partnership tax returns, cost certifications, Form 8609s and audits.
  • Review tax capital accounts including performing 704(b) analyses and problem resolution.
  • Process, analyze and adjust lower tier financial data on a quarterly basis.
  • Interface with General Partners and their Accountants on eligible basis, Housing Credit calculations, tax and audit issues.
  • Provide annual audit and tax return training.
  • Conduct supervisory reviews of year-end audits tax returns, cost certification and Form 8609s.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Accounting.
  • At least 6 years of accounting and tax experience required; public accounting, CPA certification, real estate or partnership tax preferred.
  • Knowledge of real estate development terminology and financial analysis required.
  • Experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credits required with a focus on pre-stabilization properties.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate complex activities, prioritize conflicting demands, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be initiative-taking and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated habit of accuracy and reliability.
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours during peak periods.
  • Proven ability to work across teams.
  • Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs. Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.

The base salary for this role is $100,000 to $110,000, depending on level of skills and experience.

The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance.
