8.Roles & Responsibilities :
- Lead the development and implementation of applications using Microsoft Azure IoT ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
- Design and develop scalable high-quality web applications using Angular JS and C#.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements design solutions and integrate systems within the industrial manufacturing domain.
- Implement secure coding practices and maintain data integrity across all platforms.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the company.
- Ensure the reliability and robustness of applications through thorough testing and debugging.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
- Utilize Azure Container Services and Azure Kubernetes Services for application deployment and management.
- Leverage Azure Functions and Azure Event Hub to build event-driven scalable applications.
- Engage in the full software development lifecycle from concept to deployment and support.
-Qualifications
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure IoT C# and Angular JS is mandatory.
- Familiarity with J2EE MySQL and Azure Event Hub is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Microservices Spring Boot and Azure Container Services will be an advantage.
- Experience in Azure SQL Azure Cosmos DB and Azure Kubernetes Services is beneficial.
- Understanding of Docker Azure Virtual Machine CSS JavaScript Flask Python Node.js and Redux is nice to have.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A solid understanding of production planning and control in the industrial manufacturing domain is required.

The annual salary for this position is between $100,100 - $121,400 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
