SDET with selenium automation

Location: Jersey City, NJ and New York, NY

Qualifications:

• Graduate
• Hands on experience in automation projects
• 6-9 years of experience working with Automation.
• Must to have experience on building utilities to validate Gen AI capabilities like semantic search using python libraries
• Handling complex automation framework designs, customizations and implementations
• Must have a strong foundation in Selenium Java and Selenium Python with hands-on experience in automating web applications.
• Proven track record in the insurance a deep understanding of underwriting processes and claim processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality of software solutions.
• Design develop and execute automation scripts using Selenium Java and Selenium Python to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify system requirements ensuring that quality standards are met for all software releases.
• Analyze test results identify issues and trends and recommend solutions to improve software quality and user experience.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of software testing methodologies tools and processes to continually enhance the testing framework.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior quality engineers fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure the implementation of best practices in code quality and testing.
• Utilize advanced Selenium Java/Python scripting skills to automate complex test scenarios reducing manual testing efforts and improving test accuracy.
• Manage testing environments including setup configuration and maintenance to support efficient testing processes.
• Document all testing activities including test plans test cases and test results ensuring transparency and traceability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and deliver software solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and tools in the quality engineering field to continuously improve testing strategies and techniques.
• Experience in building strategies and testing solutions on Gen AI
• Hands on experience on test management tools like Rally, ALM and Jira
• Experience in integration testing with cloud services
• Ability to lead automation team and drive client solutions and proposal
• Analyze and interpret business rules and data models to create effective test cases
• Create and maintain test data sets and generate synthetic data to simulate real-time business scenarios.
• Lead the team, adopt to DevOps culture, build scalable test automation suite
• Experience on database technologies, writing complex queries, testing databases and ETL processes.
