About This Team:
The HDX Fort Lauderdale team is responsible for delivering high-quality VDA releases for customers using on-prem solutions.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Understanding the Test methods and process involved.
- Knowledge of Windows operating system - installation and configuring the OS.
- Knowledge of manual tests and automated tests
- Be able to troubleshoot and report issues.
- Be able to communicate the test results, and errors/issues comprehensively.
- Works independently on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers to ensure high-quality releases.
- Design and execute test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Participate in requirement analysis and review meetings to provide valuable input on testability and quality aspects.
- Investigate and troubleshoot reported issues, working closely with development teams to resolve them promptly.
- Continuously improve testing processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and assist in their professional development.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in QA methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on testing client-server technology
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies.
- Experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Robot Automation framework.
- Hands on experience with Azure, AWS or any other public cloud and deployments.
- Solid programming skills in languages such as Powershell, and Python.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products on time.
