The Graphic Designer I position remotely supports RRL initiatives and reports to a Program Manager for day-to-day supervision and career development. U.S. Citizenship required.
Summary:
C2 Technologies seeks a junior graphic designer team. The ideal candidate will use knowledge of current graphic design software to produce graphic art and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, and instructional material through a variety of media outlets; generates and manipulates graphic images, and animations; simulates the behavior of animated objects sound, text and video into consolidated and seamless multimedia programs.
Will work with highly skilled teams of 3d artists and software engineers to imagine, build, and deploy multi-platform digital assets.
Responsibilities:
  • Design layout of art or product exhibits, displays, or promotional materials.
  • Effectively translate wireframes, process flows, and sitemaps into prototypes, mockups, and final compositions to showcase and demonstrate designs.
  • Draws and prints charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork.
  • Collaborates with others to develop or refine designs.
  • Reviews art or design materials.
  • Draws detailed technical illustrations and illustrates a process using computer animation.
  • Works on a variety of assignments on an as-needed basis.
  • Maintains records, documents, and other files.
  • Maintains archive of images, photos, and previous work products.
  • Prepare and help guide software engineers on the implementation of UI/UX designs into Unity.
  • Provide feedback to developers as designs are implemented to ensure the user experience is cohesive and accurate.
  • Continuously collaborate with the Creative Director and the Creative Operations team to ensure a cohesive design and user experience for the digital product.
  • Utilize design thinking and questioning techniques to devise strategies for navigating ambiguous pathways.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, After Effects, and other Adobe Creative Suite products, with additional experience in prototyping tools like Sketch, Figma, or Balsamiq being advantageous but not required.
  • Collaborative ability to work effectively with other designers and developers to implement new ideas.
  • Experience in developing 2D assets for IMI training development in a DoD environment.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex concepts clearly and persuasively to audiences with varying levels of understanding.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
