Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of data quality strategies using Informatica Data Quality to enhance business operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Design and execute data quality projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives in the Property & Casualty Insurance and Workers Comp-New Business domains.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to identify data quality issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data quality processes, standards, and procedures.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices in data quality management.
  • Monitor data quality metrics and reports to track the progress of data quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide expert guidance on data governance policies and practices.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data quality tools and technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to data integrity and privacy
Position Qualifications:

Required skills:

  • Must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in managing projects with a focus on data quality.
  • Layer based Data validation for legacy and cloud (Azure/ Snowflake)
  • Hands on experience in Snowflake / Oracle with Strong SQL knowledge.
  • Data Automation tool like Informatica DVO
  • In-depth knowledge of the Property & Casualty Insurance and Workers Comp-New Business domains
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving project objectives.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of data quality and insurance.
Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications accepted through July 6, 2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $95,000 - $135,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
