What does a Logistics Planner do at Swire Coca-Cola?

Logistics Planners will engage and collaborate with the Sales and Logistics teams to provide efficient and effective sales routes and efficient delivery plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data and align goals to achieve the company's objectives.
  • Work with Distribution Center Management teams to ensure that driver efficiencies are maximized, and the low-cost delivery solution is used in every applicable situation.
  • Work directly with sales leadership and logistics leadership ensuring we are meeting their needs and fulfilling company objectives.
  • Provide performance information, metrics and review KPi's performance and make recommendations for long term planning for sales and distribution
  • Develop and manage Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting across the Logistics organization
  • Detect opportunities and provide consulting and analysis with all levels of leadership
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or GED) High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor's Degree College preferred
  • Certified Professional in Distribution and Warehousing within 1 year from hire preferred
  • 4+ years Logistics Planning preferred
  • Key Words: Planning in a manufacturing environment SAP Data analytics
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Effective communication skills both written and oral along with the ability to make formal presentations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong customer service, collaboration and organizational skills
  • Strong planning and organizing skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, in a team environment and with team members in multiple locations
