Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to generate constrained engineering and production plan, material plan, and Work-In-Progress (WIP) inventory rationalization, including Sales in Excess (SIE) of invoicing to improve service levels. Each day, you will assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating constrained engineering (for Engineered-To-Order businesses) and production plan, use rough-cut and detailed capacity planning, and link it to the demand plan. You will also showcase your expertise by optimizing working capital. Main stakeholders are {insert main stakeholder groups if available}. You will be mainly accountable for: *Running the review process and facilitating meetings. *Preparing Rough Cut Capacity Planning, identifying capacity constraints, and recommending both short- and long-term solutions and mitigation plans to remove bottlenecks. *Determining the impact of the plan on expected inventory levels, including SIE, monitors WIP, recommending WIP rationalization initiatives, and feeding them into the Inventory Checkbook. *Identifying key root causes for deviation from the production plan and implementing initiatives to improve adherence to plans.
