What You'll Bring:

  • At least 5-8 years of experience with stock plan administration and executive compensation
  • Domestic and international knowledge of regulatory and compliance matters related to equity programs and taxation.
  • Agile mindset with the ability to work in a fast paced and maintain very strong attention to detail.
  • Strong consultative / customer service skills required both in verbal and written communication.
  • Ability and willingness to communicate unfavorable information resulting from analysis and present findings.
  • Needs to have flexibility to work in situations where there is no unique, correct answer and be able to apply independent judgment to create solutions outside of established guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with managers, employees, HR team, as well as external constituents such as vendors. Presents work, projects and ideas to peers and customers in a clear and logical manner.
  • Ability to multitask many duties at same time and prioritize as needed based on deadlines, impact, and urgency. Takes on unplanned tasks without losing sight of other planned tasks. Is able to work on assignments and projects individually.
  • Familiarity with Workday / HRIS system and Fidelity Stock Plan Services is a plus.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Strong proficiency with analyzing data sets, creating formulas, v-lookups, and pivot tables.
  • Certification is highly desirable - Certified Equity Professional (CEP).
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, related field, or equivalent experience.

Impact You'll Make:

The Advisor, Equity Compensation will be responsible for the administration of TransUnion's global equity compensation plans including the Employee Stock Purchase Program and will coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure accurate processing, reporting, and disclosure of employee stock transactions. Additionally, the role will provide analytical support for the Executive Compensation team.

  • Administer all participant long-term incentive plan transactions in an accurate and timely manner, process new grants, distributions and cancellations for restricted stock and performance stock units.
  • Administer TransUnion's semi-annual Employee Stock Purchase Plan, including global payroll coordination, issuance of communications, and processing related to enrollment windows, purchase and offering periods.
  • Maintain database integrity and ensure accuracy of record-keeping of equity data using Fidelity Stock Plan Services
  • Prepare equity accruals and forecasting with a strong working relationship with Finance.
  • Partner with the legal department to ensure regulatory compliance for Section 16 officers and Board members by assisting with SEC filings.
  • Answer employee questions with high level of customer service, knowledge, and quick turnaround.
  • Create equity program communication and training materials for employee education.
  • Support the preparation of materials for the Compensation Committee and the annual proxy filing, including providing and reviewing equity data included in the document.
  • Ad-hoc projects throughout the year, including research, executive compensation benchmarking, analysis, and recommendations.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
