We are currently hiring a Finishing Machine Operator (Production Worker)

Shift Available: Monday to Friday, 11:30am - 8:00pm (Note: training will be on 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm)

Pay Rate: $16 per hour + 5% shift differential

What you'll do:

• Spot lenses to check power and prism.
• Inspects and pad block on lens using blocking equipment
• Operates edging equipment to edge lenses to proper specifications.
• Use buffer to polish edges of lenses before mounting.
• Clean and inserts ophthalmic lenses into ophthalmic frame.
• Using a lensometer, check lens attributes against established standards.
• Verify lens treatments and proper frame alignment against the prescription.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• The ability to communicate openly with others and work as a team
• Must be able to work overtime or flexible shifts when needed
• Must be able to follow all company policies and procedures
• Must be able to understand and implement work instructions
• Must be able to understand basic job work tickets
• The ability to do simple/basic math
• Work without supervision
