Dewberry is currently looking for a Party Chief to perform a variety of tasks associated with land surveying and civil engineering in our Lanham, MD office.

- Perform Construction Stakeout
- Field work associated with land surveying
- Perform Boundary Surveys & ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys
- Assisting with survey computations and data collection
- Perform Computer-sided design and drafting
- Other duties as assigned
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Surveying is preferred
- Able to operate Robotic Total Stations, GPS, static, RTK, RTN
- Familiarity with Trimble and/or Topcon Robotics, TSC2 Data Collectors
- Ability to shoot Topography
- Willing to learn and use GPS and Robotic Instrumentation
- Ability to work remotely required under rigorous conditions
- Certified Survey Technician, level II or III (CST) or ability to obtain within specified timeframe
- Utility locating experience a plus
- Familiarity with Trimble Survey Controller, Trimble Access, Carlson SurvCE software a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be reliable
Additional Requirements:
- Have the ability to work out of town, flexible with work area
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license in order to operate company vehicle
- Must be able to pass drug/alcohol screening
