We are currently seeking a Java API Developer to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks
- Implement data access layers using JPA, Hibernate, and ORM tools to interact with databases
- Collaborate with teams to translate business requirements into efficient API solutions
- Implement API security measures, including authentication, authorization, and input validation
- Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews
- Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues and performance bottlenecks
- Stay updated with the latest API development trends and best practices
- Work independently, yet collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years as a Java developer working on Java projects
- JAVA 17, REST Web Services, Hibernate-JPA/Spring Data R2DB, and Spring Boot 3.2.
- Agile methodologies and familiarity with tools such as JIRA, GITHUB, and Jenkins
- Cloud technologies, preferably AWS
- Designing, developing, and implementing APIs. The ability to work independently, yet collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, is crucial for this role
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science)
