Reports To: Executive Vice President of Sales, Core Strengths Sales

Employment Type: Full Time, FSLA Status: Exempt, EEO Category: Sales Workers

Note: This role will support our Midwest territory. We are only considering candidates who lives in ND, SD, MN, NE, IA, KS, MO, IN, and OH.

The Impact you Will Have:

As a Client Partner, you are responsible for achieving sales growth goals by adding new clients, managing and expanding work within existing clients, and maintaining existing client relationships while representing Crucial Learning and Core Strengths' complete product offerings. You deliver talent effectiveness solutions to large organizations by partnering with leaders within learning and development and talent management. You act as a strategic partner to large organizations by understanding their business priorities and aligning Crucial Learning/Core Strengths' solutions to their talent development needs.

What You'll Do:

  • Build and execute your strategy to drive pipeline development in your region.
  • Listen to and empathize with various stakeholders in the organization's talent departments to understand what challenges organizations face when connecting their people strategy to their business strategy.
  • Convince Human Resources and Talent Development contacts to approach old problems in new ways while leading deals from initial engagement to close.
  • Build a joint plan with the organization that incorporates their goals and shows how we can support them in meeting and exceeding their goals.
  • Work closely with Customer Success team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Initiate client meetings to diagnose and qualify client opportunities.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations (in person and virtual) for our SaaS solution.
  • Lead and manage client opportunities and engagements by coordinating with internal stakeholders (business development, customer success, delivery, and customer support)
  • Be flexible to work with various clients, industries, and unique situations, including leadership and management development programs, selection programs, performance initiative, and SaaS HRM system integrations.
  • Lead sales negotiations to overcome objections while navigating complex decision-making with multiple buying influencers.
  • Prepare detailed SOW and navigate complex client contracting processes.
  • Foster long-term client relationships by meeting and exceeding client expectations while achieving and exceeding revenue goals.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in a complex business environment with emphasis on selling of intangible services to leading corporations.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce or other ERP application
  • Previous success in a Sales or Business Development role is strongly desired.
  • Experience with new business development and maintaining relationships.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills; strong conceptual and analytical skills.
  • Ability to build relationships from scratch and sell at business unit level in medium to large companies
  • Track record of achieving revenue targets in a new business capacity
  • Will have experience of communicating and presenting at different levels within many businesses
  • Strong pipeline analysis and opportunity forecasting skills.
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Self-Starter and goal oriented
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Team player mentality
  • An excellent knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
