The RoleAs the Senior Manager of HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems), your primary responsibility will be to oversee the strategic direction, implementation, and optimization of the HRIS function within our organization, with a specific focus on Workday. You will lead a team responsible for the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of our Workday platform, ensuring that it effectively supports our HR processes and business objectives.

Your Impact
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive HRIS strategy aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage Workday functionality to streamline HR processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve decision-making.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business needs and translate them into system requirements and enhancements.
  • Workday Administration: Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and administration of the Workday platform, including core HR, compensation, benefits, talent management, and reporting modules.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Manage system upgrades, patches, and integrations with other business systems.
  • Data governance, Privacy and Compliance: Implement data retention and security measures.
  • Support global data integrity processes, including adherence to global standards. Work with local HR teams to develop action plans focused on continuous improvement of data integrity in accordance with data privacy laws.
  • Monitors adherence to system procedures and processes; coaches, trains, educated in areas of non-compliance.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of HRIS professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, automation, innovation, and collaboration within the HRIS team.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday-related inquiries, escalations, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with HR business partners and other key stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities and ensure alignment with HRIS initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IT and vendors to ensure seamless integration of HRIS with other systems and applications.
  • Communicate updates, changes, and best practices related to Workday usage to relevant stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Lead the implementation of new Workday modules, features, and functionalities, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Manage system enhancement projects, from requirements gathering and solution design to testing, training, and deployment.

What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in HRIS management, with a focus on Workday.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday functionality, configuration, and administration.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading complex HRIS projects from inception to completion.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making and process improvements.
  • Relevant certifications in Workday (e.g., Workday HCM certification) preferred.
