Job Description
Sauer Southeast, LLC located in Jacksonville, Florida, is seeking to hire a full-time Human Resource (HR) Generalist to help us build and continue to grow our construction work in the Southeast.

This position is responsible for providing support for the day-to-day operations of human resources processes and functions. The HR Generalist will integrate his/her efforts, within our corporate HR department lead by an outside Human Resources consultant and will have a specific focus on our personnel in the Southeast.

Sauer is looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who is flexible to perform a variety of different HR related tasks. The HR Generalist will need to develop collaborative working relationships with all division managers/leaders in order to accomplish staffing goals, while also representing Sauer to external candidates and our existing team members. The position will assist with the daily workflow of the HR department, which can range from coordinating onboarding, background checks, drug screens, orientation, inputting new hire data to Sauer's HRIS, and providing additional input and guidance to division managers on our obligations to follow federal and other compliance guidelines (Ex. Davis-Bacon prevailing wages, payroll requirements, affirmative action/EEO).

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software and preferred to have a proficiency in HRIS software and job posting websites.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • Completion of an HR Certification program is preferred.
  • At least 4-years related experience required.
