POSITION:2nd Shift Production Trainer
HOURS:TBD, with availability to work weekends and overtime.
COMPENSATION: $24.29 Hourly
REPORTS TO: Training Supervisor
EMPLOYMENT: Full time

JOB SUMMARY: Collaborate with production and support functions to ensure all employees have the training and tools required to perform required job duties.

JOB DUTIES:

• Training new hires and internal transfers in the duties of their position, both in hands-on and classroom environments.
• Completing and returning training documentation to supervisors and support staff according to orientation/training timeline.
• Communicating with production supervisors, human resources team, plant leadership, and trainees on critical feedback areas and training goals.
• Maintain working knowledge of multiple manufacturing processes through continuous education and other training to provide highest quality of training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  

WORKING CONDITIONS: Exposure to varying temperatures from warm to very cold; noise; humidity; moving vehicles; slippery floors; possible heavy and repeated lifting. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.

QUALIFICATIONS: Production experience across multiple areas of processing. Must pass Company math test. A team oriented individual, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Must complete Powered Industrial Truck, Lock Out/Tag Out and Hazard Communication safety training courses. Must meet Production Back & Task requirements. Must have basic computer literacy. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift and twist up to 9 hours per day. SAP Experience and Bilingual Skills (Spanish and English) required.

WORKING CONDITIONS: High noise, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, outdoor in various weather conditions, moving equipment and dust may be present. Employees will wear personal protective equipment
as necessary or required.
