Job Summary
Fishbeck is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to provide valuable office support to the HR Department. The role primarily involves efficiently organizing and managing the HRIS and other HR-related systems, assisting with firm communication and documentation, providing event support, and executing a range of essential administrative tasks. Ideal candidates will be a highly organized individual, known for their acute attention to detail, professionalism, and should also exhibit a strong dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
Primary Functions
  • Manage staff member data/record keeping systems.
  • Field inquiries from internal staff and external stakeholders and direct to the appropriate contact.
  • Assemble new hire onboarding items and accurately enter information into the HRIS.
  • Maintain employee data within Accounting/Project Management system.
  • Maintain SharePoint intranet site.
  • Aid in coordination of internal events.
  • Coordinate career fair attendance planning process.
  • Schedule meetings and candidate interviews.
  • Handle verification of employment requests.
  • Ensure all corporate documents remain up to date.
  • Compile routine and requested reports and spreadsheets.
  • Order, distribute, and track staff member gifts/support.
  • Manage required legal postings per location and including remote staff member states.
  • Complete other administrative tasks as assigned for the department.
Minimum Physical Requirements
Mobility to work in an office setting, use standard office equipment, visual acuity to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone. Desired Education/Licensure
Associate degree or equivalent experience.
Desired Skills/Experience
  • 2+ years of related administrative support experience. Human resources experience is a plus.
  • Well organized, dependable, and detail oriented.
  • Must maintain accurate records and generate detailed reports.
  • Capable of establishing effective working relationships.
  • Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and work with changing work priorities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and Excel.
  • Expected to use the utmost discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Effective communicator with a customer service mindset.
