Job Description
Ever-Green Energy is looking for a team member to provide human resource services to the Company by handling a variety of activities in accordance with Company policy and procedure under the direction of the Human Resource Manager. Fosters a workplace environment consistent with Ever-Green Energy mission and values.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Associate's degree with an emphasis on human resources, business, or related field.
  2. Two to three years related experience.
  3. Positive communications, customer relations, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Excellent MS Office skills and technical support skills.
  5. Proficient in HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
  6. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational time/task management skills.
  7. Familiarity with HR policies and procedures.
  8. Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to problem solve and think independently.
  9. Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality with high degree of professionalism.

Preferred Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  2. Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
  3. Experience with ADP-Workforce Now a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding

  1. Coordinates pre-employment activities which may include creating job postings, coordinating advertising, scheduling interviews, scheduling background checks, drug-screens, physicals, and industrial psychological exams as needed.
  2. Coordinates new employee orientation, and ensures the accurate and timely completion of all required new employee paperwork and its entry into HRIS system. Ensures new employee file is complete and compliant with applicable laws, i.e. wage theft notice, Form I-9, etc. Ensure each department lead has completed and signed off on their portion of the employee onboarding program. Act as a back up to Sr. HR Generalist as needed to conduct new employee orientation.
  3. Coordinates with other departments to ensure org chart, phone directory, and email distribution lists are updated.

Benefits Support

  1. Assists HR Specialist with preparing for annual open enrollment by testing, auditing and preparing packets for the printer.
  2. Ensures benefits information is updated on local intranet site.
  3. Creates and updates new employee benefits packets/information and schedule new employee to meet with HR Specialist for new employee benefits meeting.
  4. Ensures new employees complete all benefit paperwork accurately and follow-up on late paperwork. Process and enter completed paperwork into HRIS systems and/or applicable benefits vendor sites according to procedures.

HRIS System & Technology Support

  1. Inputs, maintains, audits, extracts, and prepares detailed HR reports from ADP.
  2. Maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules. Communicates updates and changes proactively to HR team.
  3. Runs periodic data audits of the ADP HRIS data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  4. Enters all automatic contract wage progression rate increases into the ADP system as directed by HR Manager.
  5. Provides support to ensure employee handbook system is current and maintained for all employees, including ensuring signatures are captured.
  6. Enters Employee Status Change notices into HRIS system as needed.

Performance Management Support & Employee engagement

  1. Coordinates the approval process for tuition reimbursement requests.
  2. Manages and sends out employee and Leadership Team training invites via Outlook.
  3. Tracks attendance at mandatory training sessions, and posts sessions on intranet.
  4. Follow-up on the completion and tracking of six month and annual performance reviews.
  5. Schedules and/or collects exit interview information from departing employees and share trend data with HR team.
  6. Enter termination in ADP system and close out terminated employee file, following process and procedure.

General HR Support

  1. Processes HR-related invoices.
  2. Serves as a technical resource to employees by being knowledgeable about human resource programs and assists with answering questions and resolving issues.
  3. Performs other duties as assigned.
