We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance manager to join our team. You will work closely with a team of experts working alongside our customers on some of North America's most significant projects.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop and maintain Quality Manuals and Procedures and prepare work instructions, procedures, methods, and verification.
  • Prepare written documents and flowcharts that describe the processes that the CM team will follow to execute the
  • project.
  • Maintain Quality records that document evidence that quality assurance activities have been performed and the outcomes of their performance.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for a quantitative and qualitative assessment of QC/QA performance.
  • Conduct training of staff and conduct audits of quality performance. Manage the audit program involving planning and conducting audits of the QA/QC management systems against requirements.
  • Schedule, perform, and prepare audit reports and findings.
  • Collect information from project records and interviews to assess the CM team's quality performance.
  • Lead audit review briefings to discuss audit findings with the CM Management team and to identify areas for improvement with recommended actions.
  • Report audit findings upward within COWI quality organization.
  • Review and report on - Establishment and monitoring of KPIs; Review of quality responses to CM tasks including timeliness, compliance, and effectiveness; Review and assessment of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs); Status of open action items/issues and the history of responsiveness in addressing the items.
  • Identify required actions and decisions to make corrective improvements to the CM team's quality performance.
  • Domestic travel is required up to 10% of the time.

On top of that, you will have:

  • Master of Science degree in Construction Engineering and Management, Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field, or foreign degree equivalent, OSHA-30 Certification, and one year of industry experience. This must include experience in each of the following:
    • 1 year of experience in onsite Construction Management of Dams or Tunnels.
    • 1 year of experience in Procore software.
    • 1 year of experience in Smartsheet software.
    • 1 Year of experience in BIM 360
    • 6 months of experience in Bluebeam Revu

Base compensation: $170,186 for Oakland location only. Actual compensation is subject to variations due to education, experience, skill set and/or location.
