Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for "Senior Full Stack Java Developer @ Jersey City, NJ" to join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. Responsibilities:

* Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance software solutions using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.

* Ensure the integration of RESTful Web Services for seamless data exchange and application functionality.

* Manage version control and source code using GIT, ensuring best practices are followed by the development team.

* Utilize Maven for project management and build processes, enhancing productivity and code quality.

* Oversee the deployment of applications using UrbanCode Deploy, Kubernetes, and Docker, focusing on automation and efficiency.

* Implement and maintain databases using MySQL and Mongo DB, ensuring data integrity and performance.

* Guide the team in adopting Spring MVC, Spring Core, and Spring Security for robust application development.

* Champion the use of Jenkins and Jenkins CI for continuous integration and delivery, improving the software development lifecycle.

* Leverage Kafka for building real-time data processing pipelines, enhancing system responsiveness and scalability.

* Promote best practices in coding, testing, and deployment, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

* Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, advocating for their adoption where appropriate.

Must Have Skills:

* Proven experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and Kafka is mandatory.

* Familiarity with Struts, JBoss, Tomcat, Unix/Linux, and Oracle is highly desirable.

* Strong understanding of REST Web Services, Spring MVC, and Spring Core.

* Experience in the Cards & Payments domain is required, with additional experience in Payments being advantageous.

* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.

* Ability to drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position depends on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
