Position Overview

Davey Resource Group, Inc. is seeking a full-time administrative professional to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. Based in beautiful downtown Kent, OH, you will be responsible for general office and client administrative functions by performing the following duties.

What you'll do:
  • Process weekly timesheets and verify hours for payroll.
  • Check and distribute payroll summaries.
  • Resolve employee payroll issues.
  • Review, enter, and generate accurate invoices into SAP - S4, and distribute to client and operations management in a timely fashion
  • Navigating customer websites and portals
  • Coordinate with clients and operations teams to resolve billing and collection issues.
  • Review and organize contracts, create SAP clients and projects.
  • Run and follow up on A/R reports
  • Create accurate and complete invoicing records and reports
  • Maintain internal and external client data in confidential manner
  • Facilitate communication with clients to provide excellent service.
  • Administrative duties as assigned.
What you'll need:
  • Excellent knowledge of Google for Work (e.g. Docs, Sheets, Slides, and G-mail) and Microsoft Office (Excel).
  • Proficient computer skills and prior experience with SAP - S4 or similar software
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Responsiveness and sensitivity to internal and external clients' demands and deadlines.
  • Motivation and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and successfully, many with tight deadlines.
  • To assess, adapt and prioritize projects quickly when situations change.
  • To be flexible and perform responsibilities not specifically identified in the job description and assuming new responsibilities as the department's and the firm's needs change.
  • Adobe or other publishing software experience is preferred, but not necessary.
  • A minimum of 2 years office administration experience is preferred.
