OVERVIEW

The Supply Chain Transform Team has responsibility to create, test, recommend and build End-to-End Supply Chain strategies & initiatives that deliver step change growth and value for the Enterprise. This posting is for a Transform Lead role on the Supply Chain Discovery & Transform team.

This agile team works in a way that is not "business as usual", using entrepreneurial skills and an experimental mindset to identify and test end to end solutions that can be scaled across our value chain. Working as a team, the Transform Leads are expected to learn as much as possible as fast as possible, challenging themselves and the organization to solve future problems and explore Supply Chain of the Future Belief Statements. They will share their findings about these emerging ideas with key partners and leaders to prioritize implementation across our value chain. This is an opportunity to be a part of a team with extremely high impact and visibility to the Supply Chain Leadership Team and Directors.

This role will also ensure strategies and plans are integrated and optimized. This position will lead in partnership with our Supply Chain Centers of Excellence, Pillars, Operating Units, Innovation Technology & Quality, HR and Finance to drive change management, clearly communicate value, and institutionalize programs.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead prioritized transformational initiatives for the supply chain organization; develop a learning plan, seek external perspective, test transformational concepts, recommend implementation.
  • Partner with multiple business stakeholders to achieve program/project success criteria.
  • Continuously synthesize learnings and leverage insights to determine the path forward and inform current and future transformational initiatives.
  • Partner with Transform Leads, Discovery Leads, and others to identify project interdependencies, define roadmaps, and key milestones.
  • Present to and lead discussions with key partners and leaders on progress, hurdles, and track progress against transform deliverables.
  • Clearly articulate the TRANSFORM vision and generate passion around this vision.
  • Be a champion for the innovation process and clearly and effectively role model learning mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Learning Mindset and External Focus
  • End to End, Integrated Supply Chain Mindset
  • Project Management, process rigor, and overall attention to detail
  • Proven track record of taking an idea to implementation: synthesizing disparate points of view/ insights/data and creating a cohesive narrative, plan, and outcome
  • Proven success in breaking down complex problems into hypotheses, developing clear plans for validation, and using data in to refine concepts
  • Superior interpersonal, presentation and communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to challenge the status quo and drive innovation, totally comfortable operating in ambiguous and unregimented environments
  • Highly motivated and action-oriented with strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • A self-starter, comfortable navigating ambiguity and unstructured opportunities
  • Experienced in creating and executing a vision and gaining senior leadership buy-in to the narrative
  • Able to lead through influence and drive business results in an environment with competing priorities
  • Highly adaptable to new methods and ways of working
  • Highly collaborative putting team results over personal gain

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $104700.00 - $157200.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
