Job SummarySalary: 19.00 per hour plus $2.00 shift differential
Shift:Monday -Thursday 7pm to 530am. Possible overtime on Fridays and/or Saturdays.
Job Summary
Join our team as a Production Associate! In this role, you'll be involved in various general activities such as lifting, blending, dispensing materials, operating machines, light assembly, cleaning, trash disposal, and other manual tasks within a high salt environment.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities- Collaborate with team members to achieve company goals in productivity, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Inspect and package salt products (bags, buckets, etc.) to meet quality standards.
- Efficiently pack out products to maintain production flow.
- Safely perform tasks related to material additions.
- Address operational opportunities, implement countermeasures, and escalate issues as needed.
- Conduct and support operator preventative maintenance (PM) tasks.
- Operate power equipment safely in a manufacturing setting.
- Ensure proper labeling of materials before transferring in or out of the salt room.
- Perform physical and electronic changeovers as directed.
- Manage Flex adjustments, accurate displays, and downtime reason codes.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Three months of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills perferred.
- Repetitive movements required.
- Must be able to lift 65 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at elevated levels.
- Extended periods of standing required.
- Must wear prescribed PPE including hearing protection, safety glasses, respirator, and steel-toed shoes.
