The Teacher Education Program (TEP) at UCSB seeks a Capacity Grant Coordinator with experience in planning and implementing professional development for teachers. This person would assist in developing a new cooperating teacher fellows program to support professional development for cooperating teachers. Qualified candidates for this position have classroom teaching experience, and experience working with cooperating teachers or as a cooperating teacher. They can coordinate and manage logistics of a program, including scheduling and communicating with program participants. Alongside faculty, they can also assist with content development and program evaluation. This person also has a demonstrated ability to participate in data-informed decision-making. The ideal candidate for this position should also have knowledge of Santa Barbara County schools, school districts, and education organizations.

Masters degree in education or related field or teaching credential
At least 3 years of K-12 teaching experience
At least 1 year working with or as a Cooperating Teacher
Experience developing educational partnerships
Experience supervising teachers candidates
