Job Title: Validation Team Member

STS Technical Services is seeking a Validation Team Member to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. With minimal supervision, this role is responsible for facilitating and coordinating activities to support FAA conformity, domestic aircraft certification, and foreign aircraft export certification. The Validation Team Member will oversee the completeness and accuracy of conformity documentation and processes as defined in OMS company procedures and the Certification Plan. This role requires effective coordination with FAA designees, QC Inspectors, and Supplier Agents to ensure all conformity activities are executed accurately and efficiently.

• Collaborate with Quality, Production, and FAA Designees team members; no direct reports.
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate meetings, providing clear communication within the company to support conformity and validation projects.
• Review certification documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with Certification and Quality procedures.
• Maintain inspection and build records as required.
• Develop, maintain, and complete export compliance checklists in accordance with FAA requirements.
• Plan, schedule, and follow up with QC Inspectors, Supplier Agents, and FAA Designees for conformity activities.
• Prepare FAA Applications for U.S. Airworthiness Certificates.
• Perform database entry into company systems.
• Enter Aircraft Maintenance records into company databases as required.
• Perform other functions as directed by management.
• Work in a normal office environment with occasional exposure to hot working environments and noise.
• Bend, stoop, squat, and walk continuously as required by job duties.

• Associate Degree in Aviation Business Administration, Aeronautics, or a related field and/or a minimum of 2 years' Type Certification experience or FAA direct-related experience.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of general office practices and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Access.

• Experience with SAP and TeamCenter applications.
• FAA Conformity experience.

• Occasional exposure to hot working environments and noise.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and walk continuously.
