Semiconductor Process Integration Engineer

Job Description
Semiconductor Process Integration Engineer, Lam Research Corporation, Tualatin, OR. Implement virtual fabrication solutions for advanced semiconductor development programs, including 5/3nm CMOS and memory technologies and beyond. Collaborate with Semiconductor Process & Integration teams of external customers teaching and assisting in the software application and implementation creating modeling solutions for industry-critical manufacturing challenges. Implement predictive modeling tools to enable customers to dramatically reduce silicon learning cycles, giving them a time-to-market advantage and reducing technology development costs. Design, execute, and analyze experiments to improve yield and performance for specific products. Analyze large data to identify process design weaknesses and/or manufacturing tool issues.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or related Science field, plus 2 years of experience in an engineering customer support role; or a PhD or a foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or related field.
Must have education or experience in logic and/or memory process integration and fabrication processes.
Must have education or experience in the following: Design of Experiment (DOE); semiconductor fabrication; statistical process control; and statistical methods for modeling multivariate data sets.
Must have education or experience in fabrication or virtual modeling of MOSFETs, including calculations to predict their properties.
Must have education or experience in CAD or modelling software, and Python scripting to automate tasks.
Experience may be gained while in graduate school.
