Spring Lake Park High School

Girls Volleyball B-Squad Coach

START: August 12, 2024

HOURS: 3:30-5:30, may vary based upon practice time and game times

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To carry out the aims and objectives of the volleyball program as outlined by the head coach; to instruct athletes in individual and team fundamentals, strategy, and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. Must be able to adjust work for practices and games. Assist with games, practices, and the supervision of athletes in the volleyball program.

PREFERENCES: MN Teacher License or MN Coaching Certification, and previous experience working with high school age students. Previous experience as a player and/or coach in volleyball.

QUALIFICATIONS: A strong background in volleyball competition as a participant and/or coach required. Must have good communication and organizational skills. Also, understands the role of the level the individual is coaching as it relates to the program.

SALARY: See Schedule C in the teacher contract
