Human Resources Manager

OVERVIEW: The Human Resources Manager manages the overall daily operations, activities, and staff. Acting as a liaison between ESS and PSI staff members, school district administrators, and the corporate office to ensure the delivery of quality services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute human resources strategies to support organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions and performance management.
  • Determine financial insights and analysis to senior management to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Manage records related to workers' compensation claims, ensuring that information is accurate and up to date and communicated with ESS staff and insurance carriers.
  • Apply proven methods to identify, attract, and facilitate the hiring of qualified and diverse education professionals.
  • Measure and analyze HR metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing process enhancements.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining effective communications with staff, corporate employees, and management staff
  • Exercising appropriate judgment in addressing specific situations and responding with immediate, effective solutions and/or promptly notifying program management
  • Maintain effective verbal and written communication with colleagues, direct reports, and school district employees as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of three years' experience in HR.
  • Recruitment experience.
  • Worker's compensation experience.
  • High ethical standards, integrity and confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills.
