CLIENT ASSOCIATION: Society of Behavioral Medicine (SBM) POSITION(S) REPORTS TO: Senior Program Manager, SBM POSITION(S) THAT REPORT TO YOU: N/A EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT EMPLOYEE STATUS: Non-Exempt (Minimum 37.5 hours/week)
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Provides general coordination to the Society of Behavioral Medicine (SBM).
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: (Minimum 37.5 hours/week)
Liaison:
Liaison to councils, committees, and working groups, as assigned, including the Industry Connections Committee and Organizational Partnerships Committee.
Assists executive director with Leadership Identification and Inclusion Committee, including tracking nominations and votes, and building the online forms.
Assists Senior Program Manager with Awards/Fellows, Leadership Institute, and Diversity Institute.
General Administrative and Coordination:
Updates and maintains association’s self-audit.
Processes member dues payments.
Processes invoices and payments, including but not limited to, outside vendors, website advertisements, and other purchase orders.
Fulfills mailing list orders.
Database management and organization.
Schedules conference calls and maintains the society calendar.
Monitors society info email and voicemail box.
Other Duties as Assigned
AMOUNT OF TRAVEL REQUIRED:
1-2 weeks per year; some weekend work may be required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Organizational skills essential.
*This position is located in downtown Milwaukee, WI and a minimum of two days onsite in the office (including Wednesday as an all-staff-in-office day) are a requirement of the role.
